Sciolism Rocks

Despite spending my day writing dry, boring technical things, I occasionally cannot help myself and will write dry, boring, technical things at night, too. The fruit of a lot of that labor hits the shelves this quarter, as I have two new books coming out.

The first is a new edition of a book I initially did nearly ten years ago. It’s a straightforward book on learning statistics.

The second is an English translation of a book I initially co-wrote in French. The French version came out a year ago, and after lots of struggling with my less-than-perfect language skills, I got all 450 pages translated and reworked.

 I’ve written other works, including another book detailing a statistical technique called regression, but I’ve never done two at once before. And I won’t again.
